With an extended Attack range, they can strike enemies from a distance in battles. This makes them especially valuable in Siege battles or large-scale PvP scenarios, where friendly and enemy troops are densely packed. The increased Attack range allows Serpent Spearman to be deployed behind the front line, delivering damage while minimizing risk.

Moreover, their Damage Increase and enhanced Cavalry counter-effect provide significant tactical value. Cavalry units typically threaten backline units with high mobility, but Serpent Spearman can effectively check Cavalry while dealing higher damage. Placing Serpent Spearman near Archers can help block enemy Cavalry raids.

Sun Wu: Sun Wu rates "Excellent" for Spearman Unit Affinity, granting additional stat boosts. His formation Skill deals higher damage against countered unit types. In large-scale PvP, it's recommended to position Sun Wu's Serpent Spearman slightly behind the frontline, as their increased Attack range lets Sun Wu both defend the front and protect backline Archers.
