As a high-tier Swordsman unit, Vanguard Camp follows the Swordsman's standard strengths and weaknesses——it is strong against Spearman and weaker against Cavalry. The increased attack distance lets this unit control the engagement range, enabling mid-range attacks and avoiding close-quarters clashes. Its stacking damage effect turns Vanguard Camp into a key force for breaking through enemy lines. Mastering this feature maximizes your battlefield impact.

IV. Commander Recommendations

Fan Kuai: Fan Kuai has an "Exterme" Swordsman Affinity, granting extra Attribute Bonuses to Swordsman Troops. His skill allows all Commanders in his Troops to deal damage that partially ignores enemy defenses, greatly improving damage efficiency. When leading a Vanguard Camp, the increased range and growing damage further boost Fan Kuai's offensive power.

Wu Zixu: Wu Zixu also has an "Exterme" Swordsman Affinity, granting extra Attribute Bonuses. His skills are highly aggressive, with his formation Skill adding bonus damage based on the number of normal attacks dealt to a target; if the enemy has damaged Wu Zixu, his Strategist Skill lets his troops deal extra damage back to that enemy. Commanding a Vanguard Camp, the unit's continuous damage boost greatly increases Wu Zixu's Skill effectiveness, leading to excellent tactical synergy.
