1. Consume a certain number of Commander Tokens;

2. Reach the designated Commander Level.

II. Unit Characteristics

Light Cavalry have a longer Attack range.

III. Combat Role

Light Cavalry are a Tier 2 Unit Type in the Cavalry branch, maintaining the Cavalry's advantage against Swordsman but vulnerable to Spearman. Simultaneously, Light Cavalry hold an advantage over Siege units. Compared to normal Cavalry, Light Cavalry's Attack Range is increased, allowing more tactical flexibility on the battlefield by adjusting distance from enemies.

Light Cavalry can be used in offensive formations to strike enemies from afar by controlling distance; or in control-focused Formations to disrupt and restrict enemies with their extended range, creating opportunities for allies.

IV. Commander Recommendations

Lu Bu: Lu Bu has "Extreme" Unit Affinity against all Unit Types except Swordsman, granting extra attribute bonuses. When leading Cavalry Troops, his formation Skill provides DMG bonus and Damage Reduction based on distance. After advancing his Cavalry Troops to Light Cavalry, the increased Attack range helps trigger his Skill effects more easily, delivering more stable offensive and defensive performance in Siege or PVP.

Pang Tong: Pang Tong also has high Unit Affinity for Cavalry, gaining extra attribute bonuses. His formation Skill deals massive Magic Damage to target Troops and ignites the tile to cause continuous Burn damage. Advancing his Cavalry Troops to Light Cavalry allows Pang Tong to cast Skills from greater distances and reposition to evade Counterattacks after casting.
