Ying Zheng, born in Handan, Zhao, son of King Zhuangxiang of Qin, ended the conflicts of the Warring States period and established the Qin Dynasty.
Ying Zheng ascended the Qin throne at 13. Initially, Chancellor Lü Buwei, Empress Dowager Zhao Ji, and Marquis Changxin Lao Ai held power. Upon adulthood, he swiftly suppressed Lao Ai's rebellion, dismissed Lü Buwei, and took control. Employing capable ministers and Commander like Li Si, Wei Liao, and Wang Jian, he adopted the "befriend distant states, attack nearby ones" strategy. Over ten years, he successively conquered Han, Zhao, Wei, Chu, Yan, and Qi, completing unification.
After unification, Ying Zheng, deeming his merits surpassing the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, created the title "Huangdi" (Emperor), calling himself Shi Huangdi (First Emperor). He implemented far-reaching reforms: abolished feudalism, established Generalies and counties; unified writing, currency, weights and measures; built imperial highways connecting the nation; attacked the Xiongnu in the north, conquered Baiyue in the south, and constructed the Great Wall.
Qin Shi Huang ended centuries of division and war during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. His unification efforts greatly contributed to the continuation and development of Internal Affairsization. Li Zhi commented in "Commentary on the Essentials of History": "The First Emperor is indeed the emperor of all ages. When the First Emperor emerged, with Li Si as his chancellor, heaven and earth shook, overturning an entire world."

Liu Xiu, courtesy name Wenshu, from Nanyang Caiyang, ninth-generation descendant of Emperor Gaozu of Han Liu Bang, founding emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty, posthumously Emperor Guangwu.
During the late Xin Dynasty, chaos reigned. Liu Xiu and his brother Liu Yan raised troops at Chongling, joining the Green Forest Army. In the decisive Battle of Kunyang, Liu Xiu, with less than 20000 troops, crushed Wang Mang's 420000-strong army, making his name and destroying the Xin regime's main force. After Emperor Gengshi entered Chang'an, Liu Xiu was sent to pacify Hebei. Gaining support from powerful families there, he eliminated warlords like Wang Lang, Expanding his power.
In 25 AD, Liu Xiu declared himself emperor at Hao, restoring the Han dynasty, establishing Luoyang as the capital (Eastern Han). Over the next decade, he successively pacified the Red Eyebrows in Guandong, Wei Ao in Longyou, Gongsun Shu in Bashu, unifying the nation. During his reign, he worked diligently, emancipated slaves, reduced taxes, rectified officialdom, promoted Confucianism, initiating the "Guangwu Restoration".
Emperor Guangwu Liu Xiu was later praised as the exemplary "crowning above all kings". He successfully restored the Han dynasty, ending the chaos since Wang Mang's usurpation, and created a stable, prosperous reign. His exceptional military Decree was fully displayed at the Battle of Kunyang. Ruling with the "Way of Gentleness", he was diligent, loved the people, treated meritorious officials well, and laid a solid foundation for the Eastern Han Dynasty. Emperor Taizong of Tang Li Shimin commented: "I observe ancient rulers who quelled chaos and restored order; all were over forty. Only Guangwu was thirty-three."

Had I possessed two qing of fields in Luoyang, Could I have worn the seals of six states?
Su Qin, courtesy name Jizi, from Luoyang, Eastern Zhou, famous strategist and diplomat of the Warring States period.
Su Qin studied Vertical and Horizontal strategies under Guiguzi in his youth. Initially, he lobbied King Hui of Qin and Marquis Su of Zhao unsuccessfully with his "Horizontal Alliance" strategy for Qin. Disprited, he returned home, facing neglect from family and neighbors in poverty. To change his fate, he pierced his thigh ("ci gu") to stay awake and study, mastering "Yin Fu Jing". He later proposed the "Vertical Alliance" strategy for the Six States to jointly resist Qin.
He successfully persuaded the rulers of Yan, Zhao, Han, Wei, Qi, and Chu to form an anti-Qin coalition. He wore the seals of all six states simultaneously as the "Leader of the Vertical Alliance", coordinating actions. Su Qin's success kept the powerful Qin within Hangu Pass for fifteen years, greatly safeguarding the security of the Six States east of the pass.
Su Qin was a legendary figure of the Warring States period. With extraordinary eloquence and wisdom, he temporarily united the fragmented Six States, curbing Qin's Expansion with the "Vertical Alliance" strategy. Sima Qian evaluated him in "Records of the Grand Historian": "Su Qin rose from the alleys, allied the Six States in kinship; this shows his wisdom surpassed others."

Li Mu, surname Ying, from Boren, outstanding military strategist, one of Zhao's famous Commander in the late Warring States period.
Li Mu long garrisoned Zhao's northern border at Dai and Yanmen Generalies, defending against the Xiongnu. Adopting strategies like "fortify defenses, clear fields; feign weakness to inflate the enemy; wait for the right moment to annihilate", he treated soldiers well and built strength. In a decisive Battle, he lured the enemy deep, deployed elite troops in an ingenious formation, and crushed over 100000 Xiongnu cavalry. For over a decade afterward, the Xiongnu dared not approach Zhao's border cities. Later transferred to resist the powerful Qin in the west.
At the Battle of Yi'an, facing Qin general Huan Yi's attack, Li Mu again employed tactics of solid defense to tire the enemy, seize opportunities, and flanking maneuvers, defeating the Qin army. King Zhao of Zhao enfeoffed Li Mu as Lord Wuan. During the critical Qin conquest of Zhao, Li Mu was Zhao's last barrier, successfully resisting the Qin main forces led by Wang Jian multiple times.
Li Mu was a renowned general of the late Warring States period, hailed as "Zhao's Excellent Northern General". Profoundly versed in military strategy, he could defeat Xiongnu cavalry with infantry and thwart the powerful Qin army, serving as Zhao's most crucial military pillar. His exceptional military talent and achievements in defending the state earned him deep admiration from later generations. Feng Tang commented: "Under heaven's Commander, only Lian Po and Li Mu stand out."
